Tricolor Lame Medaka

The Tricolor Lame Medaka is one of the most celebrated and striking designer lines of Japanese Ricefish. It combines the classic, Koi-like Tricolor body pattern with dense, shimmering Lame (glitter) scales.

Scattered across all three colors are intense metallic silver, gold, or pale blue Lame scales. Under overhead lighting, these scales shine like tiny diamonds, softening the boundaries between the color patches and giving the fish a jewel-like appearance.

Just like Nishikigoi (Koi), no two Tricolor Lame medaka share the exact same arrangement of red, white, black, and glitter.
