Red White Lame Medaka

The Red White Lame Medaka is a classic, highly popular designer variant of Japanese Ricefish. It mimics the iconic two-tone coloration of Japanese Kohaku Koi, elevated by a dense layer of glittering scales. Striking patches of deep orange to rich red, most prized when distinct and concentrated on the head, back, or tail saddle.

Scattered across both the red and white patches are intense Lame scales that reflect silver, light gold, and icy blue. Under overhead lighting, this gives the fish a shimmering, jewel-encrusted appearance.
