The Hirin (Flying Dragon) phenotype is one of the most highly sought-after traits in the Medaka world. Unlike standard Medaka, this strain has been selectively bred for exaggerated, flowing fins. Distinctive Trait: Observe the elongated dorsal and anal fins (and sometimes the caudal/tail fin) that trail gracefully behind the fish as it swims.
